Our Origins

Mulpuri Aqua Processors was established in 2012 in Arugolanu, Krishna District — one of India's premier aquaculture zones. From its inception, the company was built around one principle: deliver the consistent quality that global buyers depend on.

In 2022, a new state-of-the-art facility was commissioned — 1,20,000 sq. ft. of purpose-built processing infrastructure with 2 Flat Belt Impingement Freezers (1,500 Kgs/hr each) and modernised quality systems — positioning Mulpuri Aqua as a serious supplier for premium international markets.

2012

Founded in Arugolanu

Mulpuri Aqua Processors established in Krishna District, tapping into one of India's richest aquaculture zones. Initial focus on pangasius and tilapia processing for domestic and regional export markets.

2014 – 2018

Domestic Expansion

Grew to become the largest Pangasius processor in the country — building a distribution network spanning 19 states, reaching 2,000+ restaurants through 75+ distributors, and establishing Mulpuri Aqua as a household name in the Indian seafood trade.

2022

New Facility Built for International Expansion

A brand new, purpose-built processing facility was commissioned — 1,20,000 sq. ft. of state-of-the-art infrastructure including 2 Flat Belt Impingement Freezers (1,500 Kgs/hr each), IQF tunnel lines, 1,500 MT cold storage, and HACCP-certified quality systems — designed specifically to serve the standards of international buyers.

2025

Tilapia Scale-Up & BAP Certification

Full-scale tilapia fillet production commenced in early 2025. BAP 4-Star Certified, targeting US retail buyers including Sam's Club and Walmart for premium fillet supply.
